Perfect Balance Bookkeeping began in 2012 when my wife launched the business with a simple goal: to help small businesses gain clarity, confidence, and control over their books. She built the business on honesty, hard work, and genuinely caring about the people she served.

Unlike my wife, my background isn’t in accounting. After 20 years in construction, 14 of which running my own business, managing schedules, invoices, and all the “we’ll figure it out later” paperwork, I saw firsthand how confusing, messy, and stressful bookkeeping can become when it isn’t handled correctly. Missed receipts, unorganized reports, and unclear financial records can make it nearly impossible for business owners to make good decisions and hand off clean books to their CPA. It also adds unnecessary stress and makes growth harder than it should be.

When I took over Perfect Balance Bookkeeping, I applied my hands-on, real-world experience to make bookkeeping simple and supportive for small business owners. Understanding the challenges of staying organized amid a busy schedule, my goal is to provide clear, reliable financial systems without confusing jargon. Today, I work closely with clients, offering personalized, detail-oriented support that helps them clean up or build their books, so they can focus on running and growing their business with confidence and peace of mind.
